1. Booking & Payments
Booking with Himalayan Footprint creates a binding agreement. By confirming your spot, you accept all terms listed here for you and all participants included in the booking.
2. Cancellation & Refund Policy
By Participant:
30+ days before trek: 30% deducted
15–30 days: 50% deducted
7–15 days: 75% deducted
Within 7 days: No refund
A processing fee of ₹1,500 is non-refundable in all cases.
Postponement Option:
You may opt to postpone instead of cancelling:
Your full amount will be converted into a credit voucher (valid for 1 year).
Refund Timeline:
Refunds (if applicable) are processed within 7–10 business days. Third-party costs are non-refundable.
3. Risks and Responsibilities
Adventure trekking involves risk—altitude, weather, terrain, etc. You voluntarily participate and accept these risks. Himalayan Footprint will do its best to ensure your safety.
4. Physical Fitness
Trek participants must be in good health. Please disclose any health conditions before booking. Failure to do so may lead to disqualification without refund.
5. Travel Documents
You are responsible for carrying all required ID proofs, permits, and forms.
6. Itinerary Changes
We may alter the itinerary due to weather, roadblocks, or safety issues. Additional costs arising from changes are your responsibility.
7. No Refund for Unused Services
Leaving the trek early or not using booked services will not entitle you to any refund.
8. Communication
All communication will be sent to the email ID provided. Please ensure it is accurate and active.
9. Luggage Responsibility
You are responsible for your belongings throughout the trek. We are not liable for lost or damaged items.
10. Conduct & Behavior
Disruptive behavior can result in immediate removal from the trek without refund. Trek leaders’ decisions are final.
11. Local Conditions
Remote Himalayan regions may not match city standards. Be prepared for basic facilities and unpredictable weather.

13. Medical Emergencies
In case of injury or illness, you are responsible for any medical, evacuation, or rescue costs.
14. Third-Party Vendors
We work with external vendors for accommodation, porters, and transport. We are not liable for service failures from their end.
15. Media Usage
We may use photos/videos taken during treks for marketing. If you wish to opt out, notify us in writing before the trek.
16. Optional Activities
Any activity not listed in your itinerary is done at your own risk and governed by third-party terms.
17. Jurisdiction
All disputes fall under Indian jurisdiction.
💼 Collaboration Policy
Content must be original, clear, and relevant.
Our logo or name must be visible in the video/post.
We allow only 4 collaborations/month (1 per creator/trek).
Final approval is at our discretion.
🚭 Alcohol & Conduct Policy
Alcohol is strictly prohibited.
Disruptive or unsafe behavior may lead to trek termination without refund.
Respect group harmony and trek leaders’ authority.
💸 Damage & Liability
Participants are responsible for any damage to property.
All breakages must be reported immediately.
Group members are jointly liable for misconduct or damages.
📣 Complaints & Support
If an issue arises during the trek:
Inform the team immediately.
If unresolved, contact our support via email or phone.
Post-tour complaints will not be accepted.
